My Take:
This book had some definite positives and negatives. Lets get the negatives out of the way first. The end didn't feel complete, I really enjoyed the book until I realized it was over. There were some little side stories that were left unfinished, some mini romances were left hanging. The transitions between scenes could also feel very abrupt, and left you checking what you've just read to make sure you read it correctly. Now for the positives: This was a very enjoyable book, was it life changing? Nope. But that's okay, its just meant to be a fluffy fun novel. The descriptions of food and art in this book just about make you drool onto the pages. If you are a "foodie" or art buff, this is definitely a book for you. This book centers around a book club, and it is just full of quotes from great books such as "Little Women", "Les Miserables", "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" and many more. All of the literature references were a book worm's dream. However if you aren't familiar with each of the books, you will understand everything just the same. Overall, I enjoyed this book, the characters were relatable and it was fun to watch the growth of the main character, Chloe. I rate this book a 3, Buy at a Used Book Store. Its very entertaining, but it doesn't sick with you very long after reading it. I do look forward to reading more books by this author, she is a very engaging writer.

Hi! I thought I'd come over and visit - lovely blog. I haven't read this book but it sounds like a fun and relaxing read, and I'll certainly look out for it. I enjoy a fluffy book every now and then, particularly in gray, cold weather!
This is a good rainy day book, its very cheerful, and reading the descriptions of Paris is a great way to pass the time!
